I state that I am a neophyte.

Well, I have a s7-1200 1212c ac/dc/rly cpu with which I connected 4 years ago with TIA Portal v13 sp1 to practice for educational purposes.

Yesterday I finally got this CPU again and I wanted to try to configure it with TIA Portal v17 but it turns out to be impossible because the existing firmware v1 in TIA Portal v13 is implemented in the CPU, while in TIA Portal v17 the firmware version goes from 2.0 onwards >.

I wanted to try to update the firmware through the settings from the Online and Diagnostics menu but I see all the items except the one relating to the firmware update (see attachment).

How can I do it, do I necessarily have to buy a memory card and proceed through it?
