How to configure SFC14 , SFC15 and DB syntax

Ravi_Teja_Buzz Member Joined: 7/22/2022 Last visit: 1/29/2025 Posts: 42 Rating: (0)	I would like to read & write set of parameters which are configured in DB My Environment (Refer Attached Image) : ---> 315 PLC 2 DP ----> Danfoss FCD 302 dive ----> Simatic Manager V5.5 Please help me, 1) How to configure SFC14 , SFC15 and DB syntax ? 2) What is LADDR ? is it diagnostic address or staring input address of PCD or PCV . Refer attachment . Both I tired but not working separately 3) Send full SFC14 & 15 errors list & remedy . In help file all errors are not available . Attachment SFC_Configuration.PNG (640 Downloads)

I don't think you will find everything you are looking for, but it may help you. You can find it here. You can also find more info by searching SIOS.

It is important that the 'theory' is understood because the SFC14 / SFC15 is not a cure-all. You should further look into example code that is published by the drive manufacturer. There is a special manual that handles the communication aspect of the specific drive.Else contact the drive supplier for assistance to quicken your progress. If the I/O is within the peripheral range, the I/O can be used as normal I/O. You can do some forum searching on that topic as it is not the scope of this reply. More specific to your case, review the notes made on the attached picture. Note that DB3 is currently not catering for the requirements. Else the instructions parameters are not correctly populated.
