you can connect to CU via X21 interface (Profibus) or via X22 interface (RS232).

If you don't have profibus interface on your PC, you need adapter, f.e. PC adapter USB A2 (6GK1571-0BA00-0AA0). In Starter in Set PG/PC interface you select PC adapter USB A2.Profibus.

Similar situation is with RS232 interface, you also need interface on your PC, in this case serial port. Now this port is not usual as before, but there are some USB/RS232 adapters available. And, for connection, RS232 null modem cable. In Starter in Set PG/PC interface you than select PC-COM Port.USS as interface.
