Hi All,

I have got VFD for my motor that I'm trying to power up for pre-cofiguration and testing. However, the RCBO that is protecting the power supply line is keep tripping. I have checked for any shortage in the line and it was clear with no issues. Then I have decided to measure the earth current leakage through the earth wire by breaking the wire itself and connect my mulitimeter, and as expected I found that there is around 110mA going through the earth line, and that what causing the RCBO to trip.

My question is, Is this normal for this type of Siemens VFD?? or is the drivers is faulty and not safe to use???

if it is normal, how to deal with this huge leakage to protect myself and the instrument and is it safe to use?? Your help and suggestion is very appriciated on this matter. thank you.
