I have the following configuration: Please describe your problem completely as if you did not add to the original topic. Adding the diagnostic buffer here would be helpful. Other questions I would ask would be about the stability of your power supply to the electrical equipment and how long has the PLC been switched off.

AutoGen_7745413 Posts: 7 Rating: (1)	Information from the diagnostic buffer: -"Temporary CPU error: Retentive data warning: Retentive data lost". "The CPU's power supply was turned on. Inconsistent retentive data were found, or the CPU was in DEFECTIVE mode" . How can I fix it?

Power leak on the earthing can create problems for the PLC electronics. A bad batch of electronics in the (mass produced ) PLC can be the root cause too. It is not much of a concern if it happened only once. Consider speaking to the Siemens support team directly by using the 'Support Request' web link.
