Is a system power supply required for the configuration of the ET200MP?

Sundance00 Posts: 234 Rating: (24)	Hi, I'm not sure about if it's necessary put system power supply for a configuration of the ET200MP. I put it in the tia selection tool and let me put all those cards without putting the power supply and doing the calculation by hand also gives me right results... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from ET200SP & ET200MP Power Consumption.

Click on "Limits" and unfold the table "Power segments[W]". Here you can see the power consumption via the backplane bus of your configuration. If the power consumption is higher than the feed-in of your IM, you have to use a system power supply and create a new power segment. Then you can place more modules.
