Is it possible to use CPU1507S in normal computer instead of IPC?
In other words, is it possible to use a regular computer to configure CPU1507S and download it in TIA software instead of using IPC?

Due to the Siemens Hypervisor used, the SIMATIC S7-1500 Software Controller can only be used on systems supported by the hypervisor. This means that you must use a tested IPC.

The Siemens Hypervisor is a hypervisor developed by Siemens. Like other hypervisors, it has limited hardware support compared to a "non-virtual" operating system. In the case of the Siemens Hypervisor, it is mostly limited to the hardware that Siemens uses on its IPC systems. It would also be technically possible to make the presence of a special Siemens component mandatory in order to exclude third-party vendors. I can't say if it would somehow be possible to run the software controller on a third-party system, but it will definitely not be supported. Enabling the Hyper-V features in Windows will not help to get the Siemens Hypervisor running.
