Hi all,

I have an application where its used a Sinamics G120 and an S7 1511 to control a machine, we are using standard v/f control as it covers the application.

To measure the actual speed of the material travelling on the machine we have a system with a encoder, wich rotates over the material as soon as a pneumatic system is enabled and press the encoder on the material.

The encoder used is a Drive-CliQ encoder as we have a Sinamics G120 CU250S-2.

So question is: Is it possible to adjust the telegram of the drive (adding supplementary words), and use that encoder in the CPU side as an external encoder.
