I'm working on a new data reporting system and one of the devices on the floor is a Logo 8 controller. Is it possible to connect Kepserver to this device without any additional hardware?

I've seen a youtube video where someone connects but they don't specify their hardware config. I've tried using the same method they used and the connection is not working.
