Please, have you got the XML file for PLCSIM.TCPIP.1? I deleted the file but now in the list of PG/PC interfaces there is not the TCPIP...

Hello everyone

Just in case if someone have the same problem. In my case I opened the Windows explorer and went to hiddenfolder:

C:\ Programdata\Siemens\Automation\SimaticOAM\data\Logdevices

Ideleted the XML file for PLCSIM TCP/IP from this folder.

Afterwards Istarted Step7 via right click on the icon "run as admin". I opened the PG/PC interface andswitched to PLCSIM.TCPIP.1. I had some strange message about settings but from that moment simulator via TCPIP works.

Hi All,

I also had the same problem but solved it in another way. After starting Simulator I opened set PG PC interface there i Found one more PLC SIM TCP/IP internal selected that and the communication begin.

now both Simatic Manager and TIA HMI runtime(SIM)  are communicating simultaneously.

I found that to solve the problem just edit the file:

C:\ProgramData\Siemens\Automation\Simatic OAM\data\LogDevices\PLCSIM.TCPIP.1.xml

and replace:

<ParameterInt>
<Name>LOC_SUBNET_NB</Name>
<Value>1</Value>
</ParameterInt>

 with:

<ParameterInt>
<Name>LOC_SUBNET_NB</Name>
<Value>0</Value>
</ParameterInt>
