I'm using a V90 EPOS Axis with telegram 111, Tia portal V18. I'm not using SINA_POS or Easy_SINA_POS. 

Question #1

I would like to know if it's possible to abort an MDI positioning without using the maximum deceleration ramp but instead the MDI Acc/Dec override or another variable ramp. Is there a method?

The thing is, I'm moving the axis quite fast and when I issue a Reject Task by resetting  STW1.4 the axis suddenly stops without any kind of ramp. I would like to maintain the EPOS ramp even during the Task Reject.

Same axis, I'm using Jog1 and Jog2 bits . IT's possible to specify acceleration and deceleration ramps for this movement? At the moment only p2572 and p2573 are effective, but I cannot change them from the PLC.

I've tried with MDI Setup and it's not working. 

Anybody has some suggestion?

I've found a condition that seems to stop the axis with the projected deceleration.

If i set

then I issue a Reject Task

STW1.4 = false Reject traversing task

The axis stops correctly.

Is this a correct approach?

any suggestion is appreciated

 Do you mean that I can issue an MDI positioning with speed equal to zero?

I don't use traversing blocks, but only MDI in my application.

Hello,

when you want a smooth stop, you have to stop with an additional traversing block or MDI. An error causes defined Off1 or OFF3 ramp.

There is a description for G120 EPOS. It's similar to V90.
