Someone please help me. Thanks in advance. Regards The S5 program uses STEP 5 specific instructions which can't be converted to STEP 7 instructions. You will have to recreate these parts of the program yourself in STEP 7.

nulizhang Platinum Member Joined: 10/17/2007 Last visit: 11/18/2024 Posts: 4075 Rating: (357)	I remembered in about 1993, when STEP 7 released , there was converting tool integrated in the SIMATIC Manager , BUT, the anoncement made very clean--" NOT all block can be converted , if you have error during converting. you need manually re-write programs by yourself. For those you need interprete /understand the old programs logical and re-write them in STEP7. NO simple way to go. AutoGen_6636422 Dear All, Please convert this S5 program in to S7.
