Comparing Arrays with a constant value

MasterofNone10 Member Joined: 12/24/2020 Last visit: 12/5/2024 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	I am having trouble finding a function in order to count how many variables in an array are over/under a constant value. Maybe there isn't one and I will have to make my own? I am not so much used to Siemens programming as of yet and would like some assistance if anyone is willing. I am programming in S7 Simatic Manager and was trying to go about this in the LAD logic. Please help!

Maybe there isn't one and I will have to make my own? AFAIK in Step7 there isn't such a function. Other sources - idk. So rather DIY. MasterofNone10 I am programming in S7 Simatic Manager and was trying to go about this in the LAD logic. Actually it is doable with the LAD but the LAD is missing variable index array access. I.e. each array entry must be coded manually, no looping possible. More convenient option is the SCL. But it is paid addon to the Simatic Manager. The last resort is the STL. It is available in the SImatic Manager, but it is quite complicated programming language.
