Hello Everyone,

I have a PLC CUP 319F. which is curenntly running normal. i have to change one FB parameter and then download fb to plc. But it shows warning that "By downloading special fail safe blocks, the deactivation of the safety mode can be cancelled or the F-CPU switch to STOP. Do you want to continue the download?" So, I select no and manually stop the CPU from external button and download the FB, this time it doesn't show any warning but when i switched ON PLC. it doesn;t go to RUN mode. I again change the program to orignal and downladed then plc go to RUN and its normal. Please tell me the right procedure to download modified FB to CPU.

It is helpful, But in my case online/offline signature is different. Few time ago i rename the project may be it is the differences. So my question is there complete download is necessary. Signature difference is not a issue??

Hello jabbi_king;

You are dealing with a F-program?

In that case the signature attributed to the safety portion of the program only comes when you compile and dowload the complete program. I believe a name change can force you to recompile, to generate a new signature, and then proceed to a full download.

"Only" changing a single parameter in a F-program block makes the previous compilation signature void, and you can no longer simply download that modified FB individually to the F-CPU.

You must now compile the complete F-program to obtain a new certificate and download the whole F-program
