There is an instruction to handle STRING to Array Of Char if needed.

 String will make my problem harder to deal with... i preefer array of char.

But, this instruction that you talking about is available for old step7 ? ( simatic manager )

A function to transform an array of char into String (without using for) would be helpful too.... i try to find one on the internet, but i cant found...
