Hi all! At the moment, our system is composed by:

1x CPU 1214C DC/DC/DC -6ES7 214-1AG40-0XB0

3x SM 1223 DI16/DQ16 x 24VDC -6ES7 223-1BL32-0XB0

2x SM 1231 AI8 -6ES7 231-4HF32-0XB0

3x SM 1232 AQ4 -6ES7 232-4HD32-0XB0

Providing us with  -62 DI / 58 DO / 18 AI / 12AO

What I'm thinking for an upgrade would be to buy an ET200SP with this config:

1x ET 200SP, IM155-6PN ST incl. BA 2xRJ45 -6ES7155-6AA01-0BN0

3x ET 200SP, DI 16x 24V DC ST, PU 1- 6ES7131-6BH01-0BA0

3x ET 200SP, DQ 16x 24V DC/0,5A ST, PU 1- 6ES7132-6BH01-0BA0

4x ET 200SP, AI 4XI 2-/4-Wire ST, PU 1 -6ES7134-6GD01-0BA1

1x ET 200SP, AQ 2xI Standard, PU 1 -6ES7135-6GB00-0BA1

1x SIMATIC ET 200SP PS/1AC/24VDC/10A -6EP7133-6AE00-0BN0

That would provide the plant with a total of -110 DI / 106 DO / 34 AI / 14 AO- besides the possibility to upgrade even further by adding more IO modules to the new 21 free slots!

My main questions are:

I - Will I need a SCALANCE router to connect those equipments together to a PC machine for monitoring and algorithms downloads? Eventually we want to implement an SCADA system to all this, and I believe this SCALANCE object is absolutely necessary, right?

II - The power supply selected was the biggest module in the TIA SELECTION TOOL CLOUD, to choose, but the output of 10A is still not enough according to the Selection Tool. (check print)  There's no other slot to put a PS. What am I missing? What should I do in this situation (I've never used a ET200 or any remote IO configuration like this).

III - Do you have any suggestions to this build? I've never made an upgrade like this (my first job in the area) so any insight is more than welcome!

The consulting is for presales clarification of planned use cases.
Because there are so many more details to take into consideration. It is not only the hardware, but maybe you will run into issues with cycle time/communication load, work memory issues after extention of the user program....
