I want to add extra devices to the PLC. Tor that I need to power off the PLC. I wonder that does it make the PLC setting reset and I have to do the all settings again? Please consider that after that I want to upload the new code from PC to the LOGO. Should I make the settings for connection between PC and LOGO! again?

If you switch OFF the power al the standard setting and the programm stay in the LOGO, So if power ON the LOGO workst the same as it was before power OFF.

Only blocks wit RETENTIVE ON wil keep the value as by before power OFF, all the others goes to the value as in the orginal programm

If you programm the LOGO again, with a new or existing programm: All the values of Blocks, timers etc etc are as in the new programm, al the old values are lost.
