I want to control the motor RPM with PID in PLC itself.

implementing the PID in the PLC. I have simanics g120 drive.

instead of closed loop speed control in drive, I want to control through plc PID block.  say , the motor speed is measured using encoder and fed back to the PLC AI channel and the based on the setpoint speed the error is given to PID block in PLC, the corresponding controller output if fed from PLC AO to VFD drive. here the drive will have to act only for generate the signal to motor to run the speed as per the controller output from PLC. Here VFD drive I want to use it as simply driving the motor not for controlling the speed. vfd has its own PID to control the speed. But I want to disable that one and use the PID in the PLC.
