Hello, everyone.

I am trying to use a HMI KTP700 basic for monitoring health parameters from some batteries using the SNMP protocol. I read in the KTP700 datasheet that it supports the SNMP protocol.

However, I have not been able to figure out if it is possible to use that HMI as a SNMP Manager.

Is possible to request the information of the batteries using SNMP and the mentioned HMI?

That it's not possible. SNMP it's accepted but for functions related to the topology. The communication that can be configured is as follow with Siemens PLCs:

SIMATIC communication drivers (Basic Panels, Panels, Comfort Panels, RT Advanced)

And in other controllers:

Other communication drivers (Basic Panels, Panels, Comfort Panels, RT Advanced)
