I've got two G120Cs controlling two conveyors with the macro set for conveyor with basic safety. I ran my safety wires to DI 4/5 on drive 1 and when the safety was turned off, it switched off my conveyor and turned it back on. I verified in p722 that both DI 4 and 5 were coming on. I installed a small din rail to add a terminal block to split the incoming safety DI to both drives. When I powered up my drives, now neither drive will stop when my safety is made or broken. In fact, in p722, it doesn't even show them switching states but measuring the terminal with a multimeter reads 24V. Wiring a button directly to DI 4/5 and pressing it allows them to change states on the drive....but it still doesn't stop my conveyors from running.

I feel like I'm going crazy, but how could this happen? I watched it work multiple times before adding the terminal block. I have 24v on both of my safety terminals so why isn't it changing and when it does change states, why isn't it stopping the conveyors like the macro should be set up for???? I've tried taking the terminal block out of the equation (not that it should matter, I wouldn't think) and still no dice on the original drive...which is how I had it wired up 10 minutes ago with it working.

do you have correctly wired inputs ground? With external 24V power supply you need interconnect also terminal 34 and 69 to power supply M. With using internal 24V, you have to interconnect both these terminals to  terminal 28.

if I understand correctly, before, with first or second drive connected to safety signals it works correctly. After dividing signals to both drives it stopped to work. And although you meassure 24V on DI (agains COM terminal) drive didn't show ON status on DI in parameter p722.

According to attached circuit diagrams, there is no problem with dividing of safety signals to two drives. The only thing in circuit I forgot, is interconnection between M terminals on both drives and 24V power supply.

Then the only thing I can think of is, could the some peak voltage have gone to DIs or drive ground and destroyed them? Did you check whether DI4 and DI5 work as standart inputs (disconnected from safety circuits)?
