Good morning. 

I have two 3WN6 air circuit breaker in a small power plant. One is connected to the electric company while the other is connected to an emergency generator. After we did maintenance to the powerplant, we tried to start up the breaker, but it only works for a few seconds before dropping all the power. 

We exchanged the breakers, and we were able to work. Yet I had to disable the manual shift from the electric company supply to the emergency generator. 

I wanted to ask two questions: 

1) Is it possible to repair the air circuit breaker? or is it really worth it to try?

2) I wanted to know which will be the replacement for the 3WN6-221-0FB58-4KA1 circuit breaker. Or if it is better to use a retrofit?
