How to remove S7-1200 Know How Protection

Safwaan Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Dear experts. today i tried to do some modifications in one of our s7-1200 PLC and to my surprise the block was protected by know-how protection. i do not know the password for this block. Is there any way that password is removed or I can make desired changes in my block? Thanks in advance.

ChristophD Grandmaster Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 1/12/2026 Posts: 22795 Rating: (3073)	You cannot remove know-how protection from a block without knowing the password. And while the block is protected, you cannot make any changes to it. So you should try to find out the password.
