JPalmen Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Hi, I'm running an EMCO S65 machine with Siemens 828d. I'm loooking for a way to prevent, or delay, the machine from going stand-by/idle after inactivity. We are currently setting up a process where we can't have the machine going AUX-OFF even after prolonged inactivity. -J

Please attach an archive from your 828D controller and I'll take a look. Alternatively your machine builder will be able to advise you on this Hope this helps Luke

Is there a specific set of info (NC, HMI, etc) you need? I was hoping there was a system variable $MDxxxx I could alter. -J

Also, Luke_N, please explain how PLC archive will help you to find out anything about machine automation system. The only way to explore PLC program (LAD diagram in case of 828) is PLC project. If you have another solution, please share with us here.

CNCNIK: On 828D systems with the .ard backup form you can actually import the PLC program in the PLC programming Tool using the import function. Hope this is helpful for you in the future Luke
