Logo extension card not getting detected in PLC.

I am trying to connect extension module with plc but its not getting detected. (No run /stop indication) after power on. Same 24v supply used for both module. Tried connecting PLC (6ED1052-IHB08-0BA1) with IO extension card (6ED1055-IMB00-0BA2) . same problem. Also tried PLC (6ED1052-IHB08-0BA1) + analog card (6ED1055-IMA00-0BA2). same problem. Replaced PLC and also extension cards one by one with new cards. Still facing same problem. All used plc and extension cards are brand new. just out of box so not possible that all are faulty. Am i missing something. DO i have to configure cards in software? (Cant find any configuration option for extension cards)

The base module automatically detects an expansion module if the power supply for the expansion module is present and the contact slide of the expansion module is correctly engaged. 10Max01 Regular Member Joined: 5/31/2022 Last visit: 3/7/2025 Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	Thanks, I checked and found someone messed with my test bench and changed polarity of 24V supply. as extension card polarity sensitive its not getting on. after correcting polarity problem got solved.
