I want to integrate an omron artificial vision camera (fq2 series) with a Comfort Panel (TP1200). At less see de camera image on HMI.
I think the only way is to install a software that comes with the camera (Touchfinder for PC), but I can't do it. Any ideas on what to do. Is there an application note from Siemens for something similar?.

The Comfort panel is not a PC. Perhaps you need an industrial PC, which does not need to be of Siemens origin. What is your plan? -- which function did you plan for the panel?

Or more generally look at the operation interface options.

There are also PLC interfaces. But that is useful only when the visual system is already configured to run the process.

The configuration of the FQ2 would be done through a PC, but I would not want to have the PC always connected. The HMI would be used to see the image captured by the camera only in order to orient it if it moves.

You will need to speak to Omron about your problem. They should know their product. Ask specifically if there is a web server interface that allows you to view inspections. You do not need to have a Comfort HMI to log onto the web server, A Basic HMI could do that too. A smart TV might even do.

I would use the panel that Omron sells with the camera. There is very little room for struggling on site with equipment that are not meant to be used together. Or I would get a camera inspection system that has a built-in screen.

Chances are small that a knowledgeable person would volunteer an answer on this forum. Make the Omron representatives part of finding a solution that works for you. Contact overseas contacts if you have to.
