If the TCP/IP protocol is installed, the IP address must be valid and must not change in runtime operation.

 I had this script working in a WinCC v7.3 system. We upgraded to v8 and now it doesn't work. Has anyone figured out how to do the same functionality in v8?

Found the Dynamic Wizard function 'Create Redundant Connection'  in the graphics editor! This created the tags and script update for the automatic switching we were trying to manually create.

Sorry for bumping such an old post. We've have been searching for this for a while and it works now.
