Would you know how to convert between the PDL file format and a human understandable language (such as XML, CSV, JSON, etc).

To be honest I was not aware that it is even possible. To my knowledge PDLs can be created only using the WInCC Graphics.

Hi, have you made any progress ?
I just started digging for the same information to automate some basic setup.

The target might be other one, for instance - converting of .PDL to other (MES) systems like OSIsoft/Aveva, etc. First of all it's needed to convert graphics.
Does someone has idea how it can be be done? Convertor PDL to XML/JSON would be common solution for many purposes.
