It really matters what type of work you are going to do. Doing PLC programming only is okay, but be conservative with the memory resident programs running in the background. Designing for small HMI panels is okay too. The situation changes when having several devices in a network and/or designing complicated visual elements for +7inch panels. Are you sure it is a Ryzen 7? I could only find a 2018 version Ryzen 5 2500u Pro. Running a comparison with the Intel i5 recommended by Siemens (see @Jacek notes), does not look good . Be on the lookout for the single core performance. Traditionally the Intel processor was better with workhorse processes (not gaming). Also consider looking at reviews on that HP you are thinking of getting. It does not get good reviews -- if I have the right one in mind. Battery life and 14" screen are two problem areas. It is a poor choice for a gamer PC also (if that played a role for you). In my humble opinion, increasing the RAM beyond 12GB / 16GB does not help too much for this case. ~ ** .. These are paper studies. I cannot predict if these reviews are accurate.

Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	You mean this model of laptop isn’t good enough , i already have lenovo ideapad L340 gaming laptop with processor core i7 9th generation, 16 GB RAM , 1T Hard HDD and 128 GB ssd , and Nivedia gtx 1650 but i’m looking for new laptop of same species and better battery life
