I need to enable the electronic signature on a project running under WinCC V8.0 with the option "Comment required".

I have installed Simatic Logon for use the Active Directory of my company.

With WinCC v8.0, the electronic signature with the comment required is working fine with all I/O Fields. You can find these options ("Comment required" and "Signature required") natively.

But for a button, you only have the option "Signature required". So the user can validate the action without filling in the comment field.

I have seen that we need to create an C or VBS script for that.

In the manual "Working with WinCC V8.0", you can find this example :
