I’m using Process Historian for the first time and have a problem. I purchased 5 licenses of Siemens 6ES7652-7HA00-2YH0 (Process Historian for 1000 archive tags each) to enable a total of 5000 archive tags.

I’ve prepared Tag Logging and some alarms, totaling approximately 1000 archive tags. However, when I start Runtime on my server, I get a message saying that I don’t have a license for the required number of archive tags. It states that I only have a license for 512 archive tags (likely the default license for non-Process Historian archives).

I noticed that when I add Tag Logging data to a trend, it appears under the server name, which makes me think that the tags are being saved locally on the server instead of being sent to the Process Historian.

Am I missing a configuration step to correctly assign tags to the Process Historian? Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any Siemens manual that explains how to configure tags for use with Process Historian.
