Hello to everybody, 

I have a problem with Tia portal v15.1 update2 and Wicc for a KTP400 F.

I am using for the diagnosis the blok Alarm_1_to_8 fb, where the text for the alarms are directly writed in the input of the block. The problem is that in alarm window in HMI (KTP 400) the text I read is "text not found in PLC, please download text container" . 

Of couse the text are writed in the block, and for other proyects I never get this problem.

I can see that the rungs of alarm apear and desapear correctly, but with the same text I said. Even if I simulate the HMI in computer the texts are correct.

Somebody have some clue ? Im starting to be desperated.

I had a similar problem yesterday.

I implemented some new program alarms and wanted to test them.

All of the old alarms before the change were shown correctly but every new program alarm had the error text "No text found in PLC, please download text container".

I also checked the messages on the webserver of the plc. The error message wasn't shown on the webserver but the texts of the messages were missing completly.

I checked a lot, including:

• using new instances of working program alarms
• checked projected languages
• checked tanslations
• recompiled and downloaded everything (hardware and software)

All of this did not solve the problem.

Today I got it solved.

I reformated the memory card and and downloaded everything to the device again.

And voila my program alarms are showing the correct texts.

Hope this helps someone who has the same problem in the future.
