Hello all, I know this is not a new topic and we have been reading through some posts and trying some remedies but here we are. We have S7 and TIA portal programs installed on a Windows 7 64 bit OS laptop. Under device manager the MPI interface is listed under the network interfaces (please refer to attached doc). However, under the PC/PG options the MPI interface is missing. I read in another post that Add/Remove Select button is not functional on Windows 7 and frankly we don't even have that button on out interface. So we can't go that route. We also checked the driver software and they seem to be running Ok. We right clicked on the MPI driver software and ran a "Update driver Software" and it came back saying the drivers are up to date. We also tried the following but no luck. I have also attached the pics of the newly generated logfile after running S7epaimp64x, and the MPI interface is missing there. Any ideas how we could solve this issue? Thanks in advance. Regards, Sheiba AttachmentSiemens Forum.docx (702 Downloads) |

Hi ChristophD, Thank you for your response. We are using a serial (9pin connector) Siemens PC Adapter V5.1 (6ES7 972-0CA23-0XA0). Attached please find a list of interfaces that are available. Thank you again, Sheiba AttachmentSiemens Forum2.docx (703 Downloads) |
