WinCC 7.5 - is it possible to log changes made by operator on Simatic panel?

That is known for me. Is it possible (and how) to log changes in WinCC (made on a Simatic panel), where the user controls the operation? If not, is it possible to monitor values in a CPU connected with that panel and log them on a WinCC computer? Update To be more precise: if I do some changes in a CPU (over Simatic Panel), is it possible to log them in a WinCC?

Or any PC RT that runs on a Panel PC? Since V7.5 Sp2 you can import also Comfort PAnel or WinCC Advanced RT Audit (GMP) files to WInCC Audit: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/109792647/136071609355 Or also PM Open Import should offer such functionality Bye Murof

I wish if operator changes specific value (which is in the CPU 1500 memory), e.g. set-point, START/STOP, that change will be written somewhere in the PC RT audit trails (as it is written if the change is done from the PC). If it is needed to be programmed, it is also OK.

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 1/9/2026 Posts: 16629 Rating: (1944)	Hello C-3PO As an addition, WinCC Unicied Audit Files cannot be imported to WinCC So far, I think this should come up with the newest upcoming versions (but not for V7.5) The GMP or Audit has its own databases/files on each panel, so you cannot connect it directly wo WinCC Audit or Alarm system. You would have to trigger Audit entries or systemalarms in WInCC manually by sending the trigger signals from Panel to WinCC (for example with OPC) or using a shared PLC. OPC UA A&C is also not an option so far, because the most Panels do not support this as Client. Bye Murof
