I am experiencing an issue on a 5-axis machining center controlled by a SINUMERIK 840D CNC system.
During production, when an automatic tool change is requested, the machine sometimes gets stuck at the tool magazine. It remains waiting for the initial conditions required to advance the tool changer. Occasionally, the issue resolves itself after a few minutes (without any intervention), but at other times, the blockage persists.
While performing a diagnosis using SIMATIC Manager during the blockage, I detected that one condition was not active:
"BR".E_NactNminv (DB34.DBX94.4)
I have already replaced the spindle drive (control board and power board) and reset the machine, but the issue still persists.
