Unfortunately you can not use USB Stick, only memory card

But keep in mind that a Backup to Storagecard or with Prosave will make an image of the HMI Panel and this includes also the OS Version.

So if you have done a OS Update before to another Version, the restore will overwrite the OS version to the one you have in the Backup.

If you want to update the OS you would need a newer Version of WinCC flexible and the HMI project. you would have to open the project with the newer Version of WinCC flexible and then do a OS Udpate and download of the Project to the Panel again.
