William_B Posts: 5225 Rating: (1204)	(whisper quietly) How many license keys do you have installed on the computer? {no answer expected} Do try the remedies suggested.. after that: Use the ALM software and move most of the license keys off the PC safely onto a USB thumb drive. Observe if there is any change in access time. Next open ALM and kee it open before opening Step7 Manager... again see if any change. w

denef_nkmz Member Joined: 10/2/2018 Last visit: 9/6/2025 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I had the same problem with STEP7 V5.7 SP3. Hotfix 1 for STEP7 V5.7 SP3 / STEP 7 Professional 2021 SR3 (Entry ID: 109976902) has solved the long startup problem of the SIMATIC Manager, HW Editor etc.
