I'm still a beginner with TIA Portal and I could really use some help.

I'm trying to synchronize the time of my Sinamics S120 drives with the system time of a S7-1500 PLC. To do this, I'm using the LAcycCom library V1.5.6 from Siemens, specifically the FBRTCSinamics (see Siemens documentation:link here, block 2.2.5).

Here’s what I’ve done so far:

• Successfully imported the library along with all related data types into my project.

• The input requestBuffer is defined as typeLAcycCom_typeRequestBuffer.

• The execute input is triggered using a positive edge (P_TRIG), and I’ve confirmed this in the DB.

The issue:
When I run the block, the busy output stays TRUE for about 4 seconds. During that time, the status is 16#7002. Afterward, busy becomes FALSE, error goes TRUE, and the status shows 16#7000. As a result, the time synchronization doesn't work.

My questions:

• Do I need to initialize or configure the requestBuffer with specific values?

• Could the issue be related to the buffer setup or the drive connection?
