Hello everyone!

I am trying to generate a PWM signal from a S7-1500 CPU 1512C-1 PN. I'll use the PWM signal to control a 6V small servo motor. I tried following this tutorial: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/63200733 (I know it is for S7-1200, but I couldn't find anything else). 

So, in the tutorial, a CTRL_PWM instruction in the extended instruction pulse folder is required (I am using TIA V20). But there is no ‘pulse’ folder in my extended instructions. I also installed the ‘Control Function Library’, but it still doesn't appear in the instructions.

So, can anyone please guide me on how to generate a PWM signal using the PLC I have? Since I am new to TIA, I don't have much experience working with it. Hence, any help would be useful.

In the hardware configuration
1) Activate the PTO action
2) Set all the required settings

In the configuration of the motion control
3) Set the drive type control
4) Choose the configured PTO

Choose Speed axis instead of Positioning Axis if there is no encoder connected.
