S7-1200 as profibus dp slave with a non-siemens DP master

mehdi.dehshat Member Joined: 9/10/2021 Last visit: 11/5/2025 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi I need to configure a CPU 1215 with a CM1242-5 as a Profibus DP slave, where the DP master is a non-Siemens device. Since the TIA Portal requires assigning a DP master, how can I define a third-party DP master? As far as I know, it is not possible to add a third-party DP master to the hardware catalog via a GSD file or similar method. What should I do, and how can I solve this issue?
