We are facing a recurring IGBT problem in the Sinamics G130 Drive. After replacing the IGBT, the VFD was running fine, but the same error (F30022) reappeared after 8 days. After inspection we found another phase’s IGBT failed, so we replaced that one, and again the IGBT was exploded and fully damaged. Last try we changed the IGBT and kept the old Control Card on top of the IGBT, and this time the board was damaged.

We have checked the following parameters:

• Input voltage: 400-450 VAC
• Control voltage: 24VDC
• Motor insulation (Megger test): Fine
• Grounding: Fine

All were found to be within acceptable limits.

IGBT Module: FS225R12KE3_S1

Was the spare part delivered directly from Siemens?

Dear Mr. Petr, thank you for your reply.

The local Siemens can’t supply the parts, so we bought them from the original card supplier “Infineon”.

If you have any idea about the problem please inform us as really all our work is stoped because of it.

What is the order and serial number of the G130?

Sorry for the late reply because we have not got email notification from you . We do not have order number of the G130 because it was came with machine from manufacture .  Serial number of  the G 130 -  1P 6SL3310-1GE36-1AA3  ,  T-K02667000057 , P A5E02549946.   Thanks

6SL3310-1GE36-1AA3 is the drives power modules order number.: 

Do you have some kind of a disconnecting device between the vfd and the motor ? Unexpected opening of the circuit (when pulses are still active) can lead to destruction like that.

Not really, the VFD output (3 Phases) is connected directly to the motor, so nothing in between. 
One thing we noticed is that while running a few batches, the batches all run successfully, 1-3 batches, and the full batch finishes, after that the next batch doesn't even start, the power-module shows error F30022 and when we inspect it one of the igbts are blown. This is the case every time it happened. 

Hmm, strange. Check this article if you haven't already. One of the possible solutions described there is to add a surge suppressor and reactor.
