Hi,

I tried to connect with AB Compact Logix L33ER. When I tried to get the CIP library it is asking Byte Array, Word Array and DWord Array as well as Rockwell Tag. As per the sample project given in portal I did but not communicated. Error triggered 8401. Can anyone help me?

the status code you are recieving indicates an error, which is described in the documentation as “Error: Cannot set up server connection”. This means that there is a problem with your communication setup. This means you need to check the communication parameters, such as the used interface (FB block input, the serverIP (block input) and slot (block input). For information on how to set them, refer to the block documentation chapter 7.1.1 and 7.1.2.
Another reason for this error is the lack of communication ressources. Make sure you have at least one TCP connection (OUC) available. In a S7-1200 the number of connections is limited to somewhat like 16, while the S7-1500 has up to 256 resources available.
