I tried to get information from the FAQ's and found that P2010 and P2011 should be set properly. I had checked that and tried to communicate with VFD. But it shows the connection to device is OK and still the device remains UnIdentified. Hence I couldnt able to Upload/DownLoad. I had attached a file to give u a better view. If any one knows how to sort it out please let me know. Or is there any other Setting/Parameters need to changed. (I had only checked P2010 & P2011) Regards, RBM Attachment 1.gif (210 Downloads)

On the "Bus Type" tab, the "Task timeout" should be set to approximately 10... On the "Extended" tab, the "Requested retries" should be set to a value between 700 and 1000. Will that create trouble??? If we increase the "time out" and "response time" it will wait for more time and gets timed out rite?? If the drive needs to be communicated, then this default setting is sufficient, isnt it??? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks, RBM

Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks, RBM Hi again, To be honest I didn't use DriveMon with MM. Basically you are right. And for other type of drive I always use default settings. But to ensure reliable communication with an MM inverter, online settings should be set in that way. Regards Hristo Mihalev

skbansal Posts: 21 Rating: (1)	Dear RBM, Before connecting PC inverter connection Kit, Do following steps: 1. Set the DIP switch behind it (Look same as on VFD terminal Card) First DIP switch =ON and 2nd DIP switch OFF 2. Set Baud Rate (P2010=6) i.e. 9600 and set address in P2011( Default value is P2011=0) 3. Set PZD and PKW as default as P2012=2 and P2013=127. 4. Open Drive Mointor Software and Go to Tool --> Online Setting and Select USS and in Interface, Set Interface as COM1 (If using COM-1 of PC/Laptop) and Set Baud Rate =9600 and set Bas operation RS485 as Automation mode 5. Restart the Software and and click on Setup an online connection. If further you have any query, ask me With Regards Skbansal
