FB41 does not calculate

mversiani Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	I have inserted the block FB41 into my project for the first time (S7 CPU 317-2). I've created a DB and used OB35 to call it. The SP and PV_in inputs are connected, the block is in auto mode (Man_on = false). En=True and CYCLE=T#100MS. The other parameters are with default values. But the block is not calculating. All the outputs PV, ER, LMN... are zero. I can see the parameters in DB online and they are correct. What can be wrong? Thanks for help, Marcelo

The first thing you have to do is to load the FB41 and FB43 into the CPU!

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (265)	And appropriate Instance DBs also should be loaded. Then fill Gain, cycle, EN - it's mandatory. I would advise to look on sample PID implementation File->Open->Project smaples.

But the default avlues are not good for any regulation! The most important parameters you should supply with some values in oder to see the FB working. I.e. with "Man_on" you select between regulation mode and manual mode. Have a look at the examples, it will make things easier! Attachment contr.jpg (418 Downloads)

mversiani Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	The problem is solved. I deleted the FB41 and 43 calls and downloaded again each DB and FB. After I wrote the code for OB35 again. The Blocks were loaded correctly andare working fine. Thanks for help. Marcelo.
