there is an example. Maybe your configuration on driveside is not correct.

3. Three referencing modes are available for SINAMICS V90PN working in EPos mode (0: Signal REF; 1: Reference cam and encoder zero mark; 2: Encoder zero mark only). In the example, we will use the third mode (only encoder zero mark)

You need 2 NO sensor to axis limits and an NC sensor for reference point.
