Hello VBP; First, here is a document explaining the concept of an I-Device, "I-device enables very easy and fast communication between two PROFINET IO controllers. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ca/en/view/109478798 Next, this pdf explains how you can configure a S7-200 Smart CPU into an I-device. The example uses a S7-1500 as IO-controller on Profinet, you should be able to configure your S7-300 the same way for your project: Hope this helps, |

Hello VBP: As far as your second question is concerned, you should look up the S7-200 Smart System Manual, and search for "configuring analog inputs/: https://share.google/THES6cvlhUcs0TUL7 On page 140 you will find the information you need. Click on your analog input module channel, select Current, and select 4/20 mA. Hope this helps, |
