MM420 One phase input / three phase output?

Cherymax Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Is it possible to use a 6ES6420-2UC15-5AA1, MM420 that has a 1ph 200-240V input and run a 240V three phase motor? Essentially... do the MM420's with 1ph inputs convert the ouput to 3ph? Thanks, Cherymax

The correct part No. is: 6SE6420-2UC15-5AA1 Second, The answer is YES, for sure you can run a 3 phase motor 240V from MM420, 1 phase 200 -240VAC. You have to conncet the motor "Delta connection" because in this case you will apply the output valtage (240 V) of the inverter on each winding of the motor. Please have a look on the following tip.
