jitendra singh soun Posts: 6 Rating: (3)	what is better and economical to reduce harmonics in siemens simovert master drive harmonic mitigation method . 1) To use a master drive afe (active front end) 2) or to use a 12 pulse configuration using two, three phase rectifier bridge and supplying power to them through two seperate transformer , one with star and the other with delta connection. what is the differance between these two method of harmonics reduction scheme. can somebody give a scematic diagram of the 12 pulse application.

You can calculate this with the engineering-software Path+. Please contact your next Siemens sales-offices.
