innovations Bronze Member Joined: 5/21/2008 Last visit: 12/13/2025 Posts: 93 Rating: (0)	Dear ALL , “POWER UP INHIBIT BIT PROBLEM” Our configuration CU320-01 No BLM 20kw-01 No DMM-1 – 01 No DMM_2 – 01No SMC-30 – 03 No WE ARE USING INDUCTION MOTORSALL THE DRIVES ARE CONFIGURED IN SERVO MODE.NOW OUR PROBLEM IS THAT WHEN WE POWER UP THE DRIVES THE DRIVES GO IN POWER ON INHIBIT MODE & READY TO POWER UPBIT IS NOT COMING, BUT ONCE WHEN WE START IT FROM THE MASTER CONTROL i.e. THROUGH PC & GIVE ENABLES THEN THE READY TO POWER UP BIT COMES & THEN WE CAN RUN THE DRIVES THROUGH EXTERNAL LOGIC ALSO.AGAIN WHEN WE RECYCLE THE POWER THE READY TO POWER UP BIT IS MISSING ALTHOUGH ALL THE ENABLE BITS (OFF2,OFF3 ENABLES ARE COMING). ALSO IF WE CONFIGURE THE DRIVES IN THE VECTOR MODE THEN THEREADY TO POWER UP BIT IS COMING ALWAYS & THERE IS NO PROBLEM AT ALL. PL. GIVE A FAST SOLUTION . sehgal

Odin Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	Do you set enable operation? This might be different between local and remote operation. Best way is to first check the missing enables, as stated above. If it is only Speed controller inhibit [30] witch causes OFF1 to be 0 then follow the start sequence that is posted above and check the enable stept one by one. Grtz, Odin
