CPU 412-3h Redundacy Problems

DanDecu Member Joined: 12/7/2010 Last visit: 9/30/2025 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have a system with 2 reduntant CPU412-3h and after a while the slave cpu goes to stop and will not go to RUN any more. After a few hours it will go to RUN again, but sometimes it will and sometimes not. The same configuration with the same software is present in another system and this problem is not present. What could be wrong? The CPU message is attached below! Attachment error.JPG (410 Downloads)

fritz Diamond Expert Joined: 10/7/2005 Last visit: 12/19/2025 Posts: 3052 Rating: (1062)	I agree with Aretand can for now only add the error description for your Event ID 4xE7 (don't forget to use the"Help on Event" button in he Diagostic buffer): The standby CPU has aborted its link-up/update and switched to STOP mode or DEFECTIVE mode. (The exact cause of this is listed in the referenced event of the partner CPU.) The H system continues to run in solo mode.

I do not understand what kind of error that is and why after three hours it dissapears when i try toput it back on run. After it stays on Run with both controllers for twoor three days somtimes than it goes again to STOP without any interfeering. I have the exact system software and hardware someware else and this problem does not apear. Attachment error.JPG (372 Downloads)

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (265)	DanDecu, please press Save as button and upload whole buffer here. Also please open General tab and write here your FW versions - on both CPUs. If i were you i would contact author to be involved in analysis - anyway with 95% probability only author can eliminate reason after it would be pointed out.
