Data Storage Error (0080:000038)

E-MAT Posts: 11 Rating: (1)	Hi guys: I have installed Step 7 10.5 on my computer Amilo PI2515 with Windows Vista Home Premium SP1, all the installing proccess was running OK but when I want to create a new projetct it appears the next error message: Data Storage Error (0080:000038) . The storage medium was removed . But I am able to open an existing project created in another PG and work with it without any trouble. Anyone have any ideas to solve the error??? Of course I tryed to uninstall an install again the SW... And all was the same. Thank you very much for help.

I was searching forsome .log archive called "SIA_STEP7_BASIC_V10.5_SP2.log" or for some folder called "Logfiles" and i didn´t find it. Do you have another idea for W Vista? Thanks Regards.

Homeroid_BL Posts: 211 Rating: (6)	I believe that we have this problem i project path is too long (max 120 characters) and when project path contain non-english characters (central eurepean in my case). No, it is not. TIA Portal is simply bad program. I got this message also on Windoes Vista Ultimate.
